- I know exactly what you mean! I have a 6 year old and everything you said down to the favorite lucky hoodie and playing soccer with a face swollen from pollen describes him. My heart breaks for my beautiful boy who will have to face these injustices.

- My son would run his hands along the packages of meat and their bins in the grocery, then shortly after put his hands in his mouth as kids do!! Totally unaware that he just picked up who know's how many different types of bacteria.

- I can confirm that these stories are kind of scary from the perspective of my 6 year old. I found a fairy tales cd book for my son to listen to and read along with. Little Red Riding Hood was the first story.

- I read the last paragraph of this article and cried. No mother should ever regret her stretch marks and post baby body after reading that! We forget that not every woman is lucky enough to conceive a child not mention a healthy one.

- How insensitive, John! Some people believe that there is a purpose for everything although we may not always understand or agree with what has happened. Children are on loan to us and it is a privilege to cherish them for as long as we can.
